As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, Providence Recovery Foundation supports professional men and women and their families who are affected by the ravages of substance use disorders with advocacy, education, and treatment. We are committed to the wellness of physicians, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers, as well as those in training. In addition, we offer support for pilots, attorneys, and other professionals.
Our Mission:
To advocate for the prevention, education, and treatment for those with substance use disorders, and
To provide scholarship or financial assistance to those who exhibit financial hardship to afford treatment services.
What We Do.
The Providence Recovery Foundation spares no expense when broadening the awareness and prevention of substance use disorders among professionals and those in training. We support and make available such programs as:
Mindfulness stress reduction training curriculum for physicians and other healthcare providers.
Comprehensive evaluations for professionals.
Providence Treatment, an outpatient clinic providing state-of-the-art care for professional clients and their families.
Executive sober living residences which are of the highest quality.
Lectures and presentations at medical schools, graduate professional programs, professional conferences, etc.
A vibrant community of alumni clients in recovery from alcohol and drug use.
A critical resource for primary care physicians, mental health practitioners and health systems in need of education, evaluation and care for their patients with alcohol or drug use disorders.
Retreats for professionals seeking spiritual guidance.
